Dragon Box (Photogrammetry Study)

This was a study in photogrammetry scanning, using the PolyCam mobile app. The negative space under the base was not captured in the original scan, so that area and the feet were remodeled in Maya. Texture and color touch-ups were done in Substance Painter.

(Please note, This was a personal study in exploring photogrammetry and 3D scanning techniques. The object that was scanned is one of my belongings. But I did not design the original piece, nor do I own any rights to it.)
