Vertebral Candlestick (3D Scan)

This was an exercise in photogrammetry 3D scanning. I scanned the object using RealityScan's mobile app. Some remodeling and texture cleanup was done on the metallic pieces to restore areas not captured in the scan. I used Marmoset Toolbag for high-to-low-poly baking, and did texturing touch-ups in Substance Painter.

RealityScan screenshot showing missing topology on shinier surfaces, which generally don't scan well. These areas were remodeled. I also reworked some of the areas between vertebrae where some pieces were a bit fused or incomplete.
